I know, I know, I keep writing about working on the site itself instead of writing about the fun stuff I’m supposed to be writing about. And I want to get back to that soon. I’m leaving the poetry and scrolls as they are for now. Too much work and not enough fun makes bama foam at the mouth. :O (Train of thought switches track >) We had storms last night and today, so Abby Dawg is doubly bored being stuck inside with me and all this site work. (Train of thought switches to another track >) I think I’ll write something tonight about…oh, I dunno…Xena tonight. ‘Bout time, donchathink?
Back On Topic Soon…after I make one more banner

Main site posts up, import comments next
July 5th, 2008 · No Comments
The main site is imported and I’ve edited every miserable, stinkin’ one of its posts (200 plus) to deal with the awful line breaks and alignment problems. I’ve got to import the comments next. And I don’t know if there’s an easy way to do that. May have to do that manually. And then I’ll need to import the other sites, Mad Warrior Poet and The Scroll’s The Thing. Editing 200 posts, why didn’t I switch to WP sooner?
July 4th, 2008 · No Comments
Why, oh, why didn’t I switch to WordPress sooner? Now I’m having to go back and edit 200 plus on the main site alone to update the links to the categories and posts. And somehow when I imported my RSS feed to get my posts in here, line breaks were inserted into the code, so all my pages looked like crappola. Read the full, fascinating post.

For Those Of You Just Joining Us…
July 4th, 2008 · No Comments
Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Lee, though I am better known as bamaxena, a fan of the excellent, campy and fun television show Xena: Warrior Princess ever since Lucy Lawless first appeared in the role of the butt-kickin’ knockout on Hercules: The Legendary Journeys back in 1995. Wow, I said, that gal needs a show of her own, I said. She got her own show and I was a fan from the moment I saw it, which was when the first episode, Sins Of The Past, aired in the fall of the same year. Read the full, fascinating post.

Change is good, so is WordPress
July 4th, 2008 · No Comments
I’ve been so inspired since Abby and I returned from our long and epic journey that I finally got up my nerve to try WordPress again and, who’da thunk it, but I was able to upgrade the main site tonight. I really liked the blog editor I was using, but its user base is fairly small and I had a hard time finding templates, plug-ins and such for it. Plus, every time I make any changes to the blog settings, the editor would re-publish the entire site! Definitely not cool. Read the full, fascinating post.

Back at the ranch, er, um, lake
July 3rd, 2008 · No Comments
Just wanted to send a great big Shout Out and say a warm, heartfelt Thank You to all of the wonderful Xenites who made our Best Frakkin’ Goram Road Trip In The Known World, Phase One, such a resounding success. Quitting my boring, soul-killing job and taking this long, free-form road trip with my beloved Abby Dawg were two of the best things I’ve ever done. I had such fun sharing laughs and stories and good times with my fellow Xenites. Read the full, fascinating post.

On The Road, news that is long overdue
June 25th, 2008 · No Comments
I know this post is long overdue, and my intention was to blog this Epic Journey of mine every step of the way, or close to it. But that turned out to be a rather difficult task. I often didn’t have an internet connection and I often didn’t have the energy at the end of the day to do more than drag myself and Abby Dawg into any motel room we could find so I could rest and recover from the day’s driving so I could get up and do it all again. Key to Accessing the Try-out version of Liz Greene’s Child Horoscope for Lucy
June 1st, 2008 · No Comments
The key to accessing Liz Greene’s brief Child Horoscope Free Trial Edition for Lucy Lawless on Astrodienst is: you have to be logged in at the site to get to Lucy’s mini-report. I don’t like that. And I didn’t realize it when I blogged it last night. Fortunately, another blogger let me know the link wasn’t working for her. When it worked for me when I tested it again, I realized that I was logged into the site. Read the full, fascinating post.

Coming To You Almost Alive Somewhere In The Xenaverse
May 16th, 2008 · No Comments
Yep, Abby Dawg and I are currently in Vegas where we will be appearing nightly almost alive in our room, having braved the desert heat and the dawg park where I’ve been taking Abby for what she regards as Shock Therapy and totally uncalled for. Heh. ;) I’ll post some pics of our trip as soon as I recover from the heat stroke. (Dry heat, humid heat, heat is heat and what the hades happened to air conditioning? I’m a suthun gal and I expect all indoor spaces to be freezin’ cold! And that’s the way, uh huh uh huh, I like it! Conserve energy all you want to, some other way, but dahlin’, gimme COLD air!)
